Temperature & Heat Stress Monitoring

The QUESTemp 36 further simplifies heat stress management efforts by providing real-time guidance on stay times and work/rest regimens. Guidance is based on screening criteria for heat stress as defined in the ACGIH TLV Handbook, U.S. Navy PHEL Charts and EPRI Action Limits. The QUESTemp 36 eliminates the need to carry paper charts, pocket guides and look-up tables into the field.

An optional detachable probe for measuring air velocity extends the applications for the QUESTemp 36 beyond traditional heat stress measurements. The QUESTemp 36 can be used as an indoor thermal comfort monitor using the air velocity probe, temperature and RH sensor readings simultaneously.

Other applications include verification of air flow in fume hoods or rooms normally requiring a minimum amount of air flow to be safe for occupancy.

The QUESTemp° 34 is a rugged, easy to use, datalogging Thermal Environment Monitor. The QUESTemp° 34 is the datalogging version of the QT32 Thermal Environment Monitor.
Output recorded data directly to a serial printer or download to QuestSuite Professional software, "The System Solution" for storage, retrieval, analysis, reporting, and charting of all your heat stress monitoring data.

The Questemp°10 is a compact, portable area heat stress monitor which computes the WBGT index. The WBGT index is an accepted method for determining the level of heat stress on an individual in a given environment. The Questemp°10 measures three parameters: dry bulb or ambient temperature (DB), natural wet bulb temperature (WB) and globe temperature (G).

The Questemp°10 will display indoor or outdoor WBGT as well as any of the individual sensor temperatures used to compute the WBGT reading. Temperature may be displayed in either degrees Celcius or Fahrenheit. The temperature sensor array is easily removed for remote sensing applications

The QUESTemp° II is the ultimate datalogging personal heat stress monitor. The light-weight and durable monitor utilizes a unique sensor technology in which an E.A.R.TM expandable earplug is placed inside the ear canal to monitor the body's core temperature.

The instrument stores and displays temperature data and warns the user of temperatures which exceed a pre-set level via a small speaker mounted just outside the ear. QUESTemp° II is so compact and light-weight that it won't get in your way, providing you with the perfect choice for almost any high-heat environment. The QUESTemp° 15 provides quick and accurate WGBT measurements for assessing environmental heat stress. The QUESTemp° 15 measures and displays dry bulb, wet bulb and global temperatures while calculating and displaying indoor/outdoor WGBT indices. Temperatures are displayed in user selectable scales of either Celsius or Fahrenheit.

QUESTemp° 15 also incorporates a relative humidity sensor. This integral RH sensor enables the Questemp °15 to measure and display %RH while calculating and displaying heat index
